What a cute little Easter Bunny!

We headed out to Oklahoma for Easter at Chad's grandparents, the dvd player kept Chloe entertained for a while but needless to say, she still hates her carseat. We met Chad there since he was already there hunting. We ate some yummy food and Chloe dropped eggs out of the wagon. When it came time to pick up eggs she didn't have to much to do with it, but she did like picking them up and throwing them. She loved the goldfish pond in the front yard she would have dove into it if she could have :) Chloe managed to get away with 6 Easter baskets filled with fun stuff this year, which brings her total Easter basket inventory up to 9, including the ones from last year. LOL! We left at 1:30 to get her nap in and she was asleep within two minutes and slept all the way home, but all in all it was a great day!!

Rough Week Again...

So Chloe once again has ANOTHER sore throat and ear infection, this makes two ear infections since her tubes in December. Which Im not complaining because I feel fortunate that the tubes are working correctly and draining so it causes no pain for her, but it is just irritating that she is now on two more antibiotics and she just finished a round last week. Im also on my second Z-Pac in a week because my throat is killing me again also. We are making an appointment with the ENT to see what are next options are. , several docs said it may have to do with her tonsils and adnoids so we will see. I must say she is a trooper. On a good note.... Chloe is finally on a schedule, yes after 13 months, I have had a week and a half of sleeping all through the night without having to feed Chloe! So exciting! I have to be really strict on my outings and work with her to stick to nap time schedules ( Im not one who can let her "cry it out", so that is why it has taken us so long to get it down) One hour difference can totally mess it up. We were at the doctor last night and we didn't get home until 7, she didnt go to sleep until 11:00 last night, that one hour totally messed her up. Jeni always told me how crazy she is about Jackson's schedule and I see why now, I had to kick my mom and dad out the other day at 6:15 so I could wind her down, and poor Aunt Ashley and Bryan wanted to see Chloe so bad after that got back from Mexico but it was getting late and I made them wait until she was asleep. They understand though which is great. She is usually in bed by 7:30-8 and I usually wake her on weekdays about 7 and she sleeps until 8-8:30 on weekends. Life is good actually getting 6 hours of full sleep for myself!!!

Chloe has been sick for the past week, so we laid low during Easter weekend. Chad and I had a egg hunt for Chloe after church inside the house. I put out 84 eggs and she picked up about three. I knew that was going to happen. The Easter Bunny dropped off some nice gifts for Chloe too.

Getting ready for the Easter Bunny to arrive! I made Strawberry and Chocolate cupcakes. And yes I added pureed veggies to these also. Strawberry has carrots and the Chocolate ones have squash. Havent tried them yet, I will let you know if if fools my babies again :) I bet it does! The Easter Bunny brought me new patio furniture and a new camera, mine is somewhere floating around here, but I was about to go crazy without it!!! I really like camera better anyway!

Ashley turns 26!!!

My sweet sis-n-law's birthday is today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ashley!!! Oh yes their One year Anniversary is tomorrow on the 12th. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY too. Quit fishing and have some babies...geeeez.

Jacob turned ONE!

Chloe's best friend Jacob turned one April 3rd. Chloe and him go to daycare together and Toni and I went to high school together. Chloe's teacher always tell me about how they hold hands and hug each other!!! They are too Cute!!! Jacob.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY sweet boy!!!!! We love you!

Did I really just cook?

I know its an easy meal, but I need to start off easy and not get to overwhelmed, but I cooked Spaghetti and we all loved it! Im going to start off slow, and start cooking on the weekends and hopefully work my way into at least 3 nights a week. I have the Deceptively Delicious cookbook (Jerry Seinfeild's wife) and it shows how to hide vegtables in dinners. My Spaghetti had pureed cauliflower and squash in the sauce and you couldnt even tell! Both my babies ate it up and loved it!!!! I have been hiding pureed fresh vegetable in most everything I have been making....even brownies had pureed carrots in it!

My 30th!!!

What a great night!! My bff's and Chad threw me a fun fun fun 30th birthday!! We went to our hotel relaxed a little then got ready for dinner at Mi Cocina. After dinner we headed back to the hotel and went to the lounge area where a band and Dj played all night. I got 2 candles, a totla of 4 Lolita glasses (I collect them) and Chad got me a new car :) Well I wrecked mine so technically I wouldnt had gotten one if it wasnt wrecked. Oh yes and the sweetest gift of all, Chad wrote me a letter with the 30 things he loves about me...I feel a tear coming on. I called it a night about 12:00 and went to bed, I slept so good! What a great bithday party! 30 isnt all that bad?! It gets better and better each year!

Chair has arrived

Her chair came in and she loves it!!!! Im so glad I got it because she looks so much more comfortable watching her DVD. Also, she didnt even pay attention to the Baby Praise DVD I got her. Someone told me to try Veggie Tales too. All I know is that I may need to buy 100 of her favorite DVD just in case something happens to it! ( I have also lost my camera, its somewhere in the house, hopefully I find it soon, so sorry for the not so great pics)

One Year Wellness Check

Wednesday was Chloe's one year check up. She is 24 lbs and 31 1/2 inches long. Which means 95% in height and 70% in weight. She has always been 95% in both areas, so I was happy to see that she is thinning out a little from walking. Dr. Eley said that she is growing perfectly and that she seems to be right on schedule :) Dr. Eley asked which words she knew, so I told her. She would say them and Chloe repeated all of them!! Momma, Dada, Dog, Baby, moo, ice, and her new word she just learned while we were waiting on her "bee" ( i was reading her a bee book). I opted to wait on shots for a couple weeks since she had already been in a terrible mood and running a low grade fever. Not to mention I forgot my stroller and was having to carry her everywhere and I had to park two miles away!!!! I can't believe she is already a year old!
