The Love Dare

My hott husband!

I went to Abundant Life Store today to get Chloe a Baby Praise DVD. I was told that she will love it. While I was in there I decided to buy "The Love Dare" book from the movie "Fireproof" which we loved. I think all marraiges involve work everyday and we are currently following The Dream Marraige monthly, which we love, so I just thought, might as well throw this in the mix too. So for the next 40 days I will be taking this challenge for Chad (which he does not know, and he does not ever read this, so Im safe) so I can understand and practice unconditional love! Here's the Introduction.... I recommend you all to take the dare no matter if you marraige is rock solid or hanging by a string!

First. a unique aspect of love will be discussed. Read each of these carefully and open to a new understanding of what it means to genuinely love someone.

Second. you will be given a specific dare to do for your spouse some will be easy and some very challenging. But take each dare seriously, and be creative and courageous enough to attempt it. Don't be discouraged if outside situations prevent you from accomplishing a specific dare. Just pick it back up and proceed on with your journey.

Last. You will be given journal space to log what you are learning and doing and how your spouse is responding. it is important that you take the advantage of this space to capture what is happening to both you and your mate along the way. You hav the responsibility to protect and guide your heart. Don't give up or get discouragedLearning to TRULY love is one of the most important things you will ever do!

Should have organized earlier...

Chad says "your closet looks nice"...confused I go upstairs and see the mess. The shelf was on the ground too (Chad has put it back up since the pic.) Chad graciously moves all his clothes and belongings to the guest bedroom so I could have the left side of the closet too. Ugh, what a disaster.

Big Conversations...

Chloe and Pepaw (her great grandpa) having a little bit of conversation. I could only imagine what they were talking about! Hmm let's see the cost of Blue Bell ice cream these days, the Stock Market, his favorite topic OBAMA..ha, or even about his garden and the tast of a sweet onion and tomato!

Now Chad is really into this DVD (not really) but here they are watching it together. Chad said, "no wonder kids do weird goofy things, they watch these crazy dvd's." I though it was a really cute picture.

Greatest DVD ever!

As most of your know Chloe does not like to watch TV that much, just not interested and never has been. Which really it's not that bad of a thing, except the 15 minutes I would like to pick up the house daily, however I have gotten pretty fast at one handed cleaning :) For her birthday she received a DVD, baby genious Nursery Rhymes and she LOVES it. She stares at it and dances the entire 25 minutes and gets so excited over it...and i get my house clean and straightened in a matter of minutes! I have ordered her a chair from Pottery Barn (thanks Cindi for the post about the chair, im getting the pink polka dot one)for her to sit in and watch her movie (of course when she is taking a break from dancing) LOVE IT!

Playtime at the Park

Chloe loves her new wagon, so every opportunity I get to take her in it in, I go. I decided to take her to the park and feed the ducks. She really liked the ducks but everytime I gave her bread to feed them, she ate it and would start histerically laughing. The park had a neat little playground that I thought she would love, but I was wrong. I put her in the swing and she wanted out immediately. I really thought she would like the slide since she didnt want to stop going down the one at WigglyLand, but I guess she doesnt like slides anymore either. Oh well she loved the 3 mile wagon ride to ge there, at least I got some excercise!

Kyler Jones is here!!!!

Our nephew,Kyler, was born March 13th at 2:36 a.m. and weighed 6lb 10oz and was 20.5" long!Mommy and Daddy are doing well. Can't wait to see him and hold him....

I have been patiently waiting for Chloe's hair to get long enough for pigtails...I think it finally has, and she didnt even bother them! I think they are so CUTE!!!!!

I made it through the "monthly" chair pics, and she has grown so much! I will start doing it yearly now. I'm just putting the first and last up :)

Chloe's Birthday Party

Today was such a great time, so many family and friends showed up to the party to wish Chloe a Happy 1st Birthday. Chloe woke up at 5:31 which gave me exactly 1 minute to get my camera going to film her at 5:32, the exact time she was born a year ago :) She usually wakes up between 6:30 and 7:00 so it was kinda weird. We got up, played, rode in the wagon and went and woke up Chad. We had birthday pancakes and just looked at her and praised God for the wonderful year he has given us with her, and how much she has changed our lives. she went down for a nap at 8:45 and didnt wake up until 11:15, I was so happy, I wanted her to be well rested for the big party. Everyone arrived and all the kids played in the bounce house while all the adults visited. She got so many great gifts and really enjoyed her birthday cake. I had a DVD made of her first year and showed that also, it was so neat to watch. I also made a candy bat buffett whuch was a BIG hit for all the guests. Overall it turned out to be a wonderful party, I need to get started planning birthday #2, just kidding!!!

Head Butt

Chloe was all excited last night when Chad was chasing her around. She was laughing so hard that she decided to head butt the tile floor. Well, the floor won. She had a huge knot pop up and she was crying so bad. I went to the freezer and got her boo-boo bear out that her Aunt Kim got her. As soon as she saw it she was happy again!!!! Then Chad was giv9ing her horsey rides and she was all better!!! The knot has gone away too....

The Batchelor

I cannot believe Jason did this to Melissa. Poor girl, on national TV he dumped her! Not that I dont like Molly, but come on she doesnt need to make out withj him 10 minutes after he tells her he is in love with her. And as for Deonna, she had to been offered money to really ask for him back, there is no way she is that desperate! I cant wait for tonight's episode, i hope Melissa is having Jason's baby!!!LOL...

Build-a -Bear

Saturday I took Chloe to get her 1st birthday pictures taken ( i will post soon) and I decided to take her to build-a-bear since we have never gone. This is definately for the older kids, Chloe basically went down the clothing line and chunked each item on the floor, so I hurried and picked the animal out and got it dressed before she tore up the store. I think Zoey the Zebrad turned out pretty cute. She must have been bored because she fell asleep before we even got out of the store!

Canton

This past weekend my MIL Eva, and some of the Jones' ladies Linda and Susan woke up early and headed for a day of shopping at Canton. We had so much fun and bought so many cute things and not to mention laughed all day. I think I was delerious when I got home and my feet and legs still hurt!!!

Please dont leave...

Chad has been working so much lately that when he is home Chloe is attached to him. She saw him gathering his gym clothes this morning and she crawled in his bag.....
