Happy 29th Birthday Bradley! Thank you so much for not only being such a great brother but also a best friend to me and also Chad. Chloe loves you to pieces and you have made such an impact on her little life already, seeing you with her is evident of how great of a daddy you will be one day. I love your randomness and goofiness! Your pranks are out of control, your riverdancing is unbelievable, you are by far the BEST George W Bush impersonator, and I will never believe another story you ever tell me..you definetly need to be on meds for fibbing!!! Your # 1 prank to this day is you disguising your voice and telling mom you had been kidnapped and to bring $10,000 to the Allen Walmart. OMG that was terrible. Poor mom running with a bag full of money, and you not able to get in contact with her, and Pepaw having to find mom to tell her it was you pulling the prank. I thought for sure you were going to be in trouble…but our sweet momma just hugged and kissed all over you as if you were really missing! Geez you always got out of trouble!!! As Bryan and I always say... you are the favorite kid...even though mom and dad correct us and just say "it just took us three tries to finally get the kid we wanted!!"hehe! You make a room smile when you are in it, your heart is as big as Texas, and everyone always wants to be around you! Im proud to say I'm your sister. I hope it’s the best birthday ever and I’m pretty sure this is the year Nascar is gonna be calling you!! Love you TONS!

Nemo's & Dorothy's

My cousin gave us a fish aquarium because they needed to make more room in their house. We finally got it up and going and Chloe thinks it is the coolest thing ever! However I think Chad likes it better than her. I’m usually still asleep when he leaves for work, so when he comes in to kiss me by, he always tells me he has fed the fish, and when he gets home he asks me if I have fed the fish. I never feed them because I think he seriously enjoys it, so I let him do it. This morning he came and woke me up to let me know one of our new fish had died. I just said okay. He sat there for a minute, I think he wanted me to say more… but I was tired. This past weekend we went and spruced the tank up and got some colorful structures to go in it, and it looks much better…nothing like spending 150.00 on aquarium stuff! Chad was like a kid in a candy store picking out new fish. Last night was also the first time I watched Finding Nemo, it actually made me feel guilty about having our fish trapped in an aquarium. As of now we have about 20 and they are all named Nemo or Dorothy (from Elmo’s Pet Shop). Hopefully we will not have any more fish fatalities in the week. I will keep you all posted!!!

So my bff Wendy got married today in the rain and leaves for her three week trip touring all over Europe!!!! CONGRATS!!!!! We had her bachlorette party last weekend and had a fun time catching up with all the girls! I left my house when I got Chloe to sleep and my mom watched her until I got home that night, so she didnt even know I slipped away! We had dinner at Lochrann's, headed over to Down Under, and they ended the night at Loft 610.

This was a fun trip to Chuckee Cheese with my brothers and sis n laws. We went several months ago, but I can’t remember blogging about it, and Amanda just sent me the pics.

Happy Anniversary!!!

It' s been 3 years!!!!

He left to go hunting on our anniversary but how could I say no?? He deserves a vacation, he works so hard during the week, and rarely takes a weekend off. He needed to get away and get his mind clear and off of work.

Sugar Top Suzies

Basically its toast, sugar, and cinnamon all thrown together by butter and it is delicious. I always called it Sugar Toast, but Chad has always called it Sugar Top Suzies…kinda corny for a 30 year old to say that, but I will keep with the tradition and let Chloe know that one of her favorite snack items are “Sugar Top Suzies”!! (wonder where the rolls in her legs come from...)

18 Month Check Up

We had Chloe’s 18 month check up last week. She is weighing in at 29 lbs 7.5 oz. and it 34 inches long. She is still in the 95% in her height and weight. She got 2 shots and a finger prick. They put a band-aid on her middle finger from the prick and she was shooting the bird the entire visit. Chad thought it was hilarious. Needless to say she thinks band-aids are way cool on her finger, she had to show everyone! Dr. Eley was very impressed with her vocabulary and said that she was way advanced and can talk very clearly for her age(not that it matters). She is putting 3 words together now and can point out and say almost every animal in her books. Every day she amazes me on what she picks up from us. This morning she was in the bathroom with me while I was getting ready and said “heavy towel” as she was handing a towel to me! So random since I never taught her what a towel was! I told Chad he has to be very careful on game days when football games are on, and he needs to use his “dammit doll” if he feels like he needs to vent! I also asked the doctor if she was concerned with her weight since everywhere we go , someone always talks about how chunky she is, (more so for Chad to be relieved not me, I know she is just fine, but he thinks she needs to get on the treadmill) Dr. Eley said she is perfectly healthy and to keep shoveling in the food, especially since she is not picky and loves to eat. She said that for how active she is, she needs to eat, this was on lap 72 Chloe was doing around the tiny room. She is also adjusting well to her fruit now, I thought it was giving her diaper rashes but I now have narrowed it down to the Capri Sun they give them in the church nursery. I don’t give her juice, just water and milk so it makes more since now . I’m so happy because she LOVES fruit! Plus Dr. Eley said that it’s great not to give juice anyway since it is just empty calories, especially if she would rather have water. The best part of the visit was that her ears looked PERFECT, and the tubes were still in place. I am pretty sure this is the first time that she has been without something starting to brew in her ears. THANK YOU GOD! My baby is no longer a baby anymore !

Oktoberfest

Chad and I met my brother and sister in law at Octoberfest in McKinney. It was really hot and basically people just stood around and drank beer and wore really weird outfits. It actually was pretty lame, we ate dinner at Apparichios and left in time for Chad to get back to watch the Tech game. Chloe had a great time on the train and looking at the animals though…

Old Time Saturday

So I met my friend Dasha and her daughter Presley at Old Time Saturday in Farmersville. It’s an all day thing with a parade, vendor booths, bounce houses, and a dance at night J Chloe loved the fire trucks and police cars and all the horses in the parade she waved at EVERY one that went by. I would have taken pics of the actual parade, but anyone that knows Farmersville and Princeton , all it is is trailers with about 10 streamers hanging from them, definitely no Macy’s day parade!!!! Oh well, got us out of the house for a little bit!

We decided to celebrate our holiday at the zoo. We had a great time and Chloe loved it. Her favorite part was the penguins. They were going crazy since it was feeding time. Im sure we will be going back soon.

Where's Chloe??

Chloe’s new game is to hide from everyone like she is doing in the picture. It cracks her up to think that no one can see her. Also check out the Christmas headband she has on…. She wants to wear it with EVERYTHING! I need to find one of those button that says “I dressed myself today” . I also downloaded some new apps on my iphone. One turns everything black and white and you can pick what part of the picture you want to still have color..it called ColorSplash. Another app I got is Photogene, it lets me crop and add images to it. Somehow I flipped her shirt around, you can tell the words are backwards.
